Dublin Inquirer August cover 2018
Following the theme of people and places I took inspiration from the Liberty Market in Meath Street Dublin 8. The idea was to reflect the atmosphere, stories and snippets of conversations I had with liberties characters like Joseph Sweeney shown here. His family history is from genuine old stock Dublin, beside him photos and mass cards of previous traders and a nod to the Iveagh Market on Francis Street where his grandmother worked for years. This is a place full of warmth and fun, chairs are an important feature where people sit down and enjoy being part of a wider family.
